The national non-profit for ADHD and autism, together
AuDHD Australia specialises in the combination the rest of the system treats as two separate problems. We maintain the national register of state assessment rules, the real costs, the funding pathways and 156 checked services, so AuDHD adults can get recognised, assessed and supported without guesswork.
AuDHD Australia Limited (ACN 694 728 679) is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. ACNC charity registration is in progress; donations are not yet tax deductible.
Why we exist
Built for the combination
Advice built for ADHD alone or autism alone rarely fits people who have both. Everything here starts from the overlap.
Both conditions at once
Somewhere between 30 and 70 percent of autistic adults also meet ADHD criteria, and each condition masks the other. National bodies exist for each condition alone; the combination has been nobody's whole job. It is ours.
Administrative facts, dated
Which states let a GP diagnose, what assessment really costs, how funding treats each condition. Every page carries the date it was checked, and when a rule moves, the page moves.
Independent, and provably so
No organisation pays to be mentioned. No pay-for-placement, no pharmaceutical industry funding. We are not a clinic and we do not diagnose, treat or prescribe. AuDHD Australia and the ADHD service Seen share common ownership. If you ask us about getting assessed we may point you to Seen, and we say so when we do.

Where this is going
Is AuDHD Australia the peak body?
Australia has national bodies for ADHD and national bodies for autism. The combination has had none. AuDHD Australia exists to fill that seat: the national peak body for AuDHD adults, built the way peak bodies are built, on formal membership, published governance and a track record. Founding membership opens alongside charity registration, and it will be announced here first.
Governance and funding
Run by people who live this
A board with lived experience of both conditions, running a company limited by guarantee: no shareholders, no dividends, every surplus back into the work. Revenue comes from grants, community support and paid professional education for GPs and clinicians, and the rules above do not change with the money.
